HBO shares first look at Gage of Thrones prequel series House of the Dragon

HBO has shared the first official images from House of the Dragon, liberal us our first face at the upcoming Game of Thrones prequel series.

The shots show some of the show's characters against clifflike coastal backgrounds, including Matt Adam Smith and Emma D'Arcy Eastern Samoa Prince Daemon and Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen. Daemon is the younger brother of King Viserys (Paddy field Considine) and successor to the throne, while Rhaenyra is the Viserys' oldest nestling. That makes Daemon her uncle – oh, and he's besides her husband.

We've already had a snitch peek at these 2, albeit in a good deal frown quality, good manners of some leaked set photos.

Another image shows Steve Toussaint every bit Lord Corlys Velaryon, AKA the Sea Snake. He's the most famed nautical adventurer in the history of Westeros and has built House Velaryon into a powerful and wealthy seat that boasts an impressive dark blue to boot.

The third and final photo features Rhys Ifans and Olivia Cooke as Otto Hightower, the Hand of the King, and his girl Alicent. Otto believes that Daemon and his position Eastern Samoa heir to the throne are the greatest threat to the realm, then it's safe to tell these cardinal probably don't get along.

Set around 300 years before the events of the original HBO serial publication, Domiciliate of the Dragon will tell the story of House Targaryen and the known Targaryen civilised war that became known as the 'Dance of the Dragons' – so those fancy costumes credibly aren't going to remain pristine for longish.
